This is one of the only French restaurant that I like in NYC. Dishes are amazing and true to what one can expect when they are French like us. Just a bit expensive but from my perspective, worth it. It was also nice of them to accommodate recipe for my GF and DF friend!

This cafe rock! The first time we came here for brunch and sat by the window. We had the best brunch! This lovely restaurant has a few dining sections. The back is perfect for a private party. In the front is the main dining area, next to it is a bar area and the outside seating covers the entire restaurant front with comfy seats. We ordered the artisan smoked salmon served with country bread on a big wooden tray. It also came with the salmon spread. Wow! This was a perfect dish! Fresh salmon and bread. That was Hubby's dish, but of course, what's his is mine lol. I had omelet Maison. It's a goat cheese and spinach omelet. It was served with mesclun salad and roasted potatoes. It was yummy! Most importantly everything was fresh! We had a great waiter named Maddy. We returned for dinner the following week and sat at the same table. We love this table! I had rainbow trout from the specials and Hubby had a burger. Wow! Fantastique! See, eating here improves my French, which I don't speak. We also ordered a cheesecake after the meal. Wow! The cheesecake comes with some cream on top which I removed to the side. Incredible! We will return for dinner soon. Definitely will be back for brunch too. Excellent place, food and service!

I went for a late lunch with a friend, I wish tables were outside already, it was 70 degrees! I had the Mussels with fries, which was delicious, and the broth with leeks was incredible. My friend had the pan-roast chicken Milanese and it was divine. They had run out of the Chocolate mousse for dessert, but the chocolate Ice cream was just as rich. I am coming back, soon!

Made a reservation at 5:30pm for restaurant week since I heard good things. We were seated promptly and there were a bunch of tables open at this time (so no recommendations needed if you come this early). By the time we left, the whole place was packed and people were waiting. They have a lovely bar area along with several tables. We sat in the back corner; I loved the ambience and the service was great! Super attentive! We ordered two of their French red wines and loved them both ($14-20/glass). Off the restaurant week menu, I had the salmon tartar, skate fish, and chocolate cake. My friend had the sausage dish, risotto and blueberry cake. We ended up sharing everything. The sausage dish was interesting with mashed potatoes underneath the sausage. The salmon tartar was good; I liked the oil that they used. I loved the skate fish; the butter sauce was delicious! I tasted my friend's risotto which was good but very heavy. We both agreed the chocolate lava cake was our fav for dessert with the pistachio ice cream. The blueberry cake was average and kind of tasted like Bisquick. Overall, I loved our experience! We weren't rushed and were able to enjoy our meal. I would definitely stop back for happy hour or a special occasion meal!

Went for brunch and absolutely loved it! From the second I walked in I was so impressed with how cute it was! Fun wallpaper and lighting made this place such a cute brunch spot! The center bar was also very well styled and I can tell whoever did the decors took great pride in their work! Service wise, our waiter was very sweet and even split the bill for us since we were a larger party! He was quick and everything came out perfect. Food wise, everyone ordered something different and each thing was delicious! The croque madame stole the show in my opinion! It was fresh, delicious and such a good portion! Coffee was great the a perfect spot for an espresso martini! Overall what a great spot!

Came here for Saturday evening (~7 pm) in a group of 3 without reservation and was seated immediately but at a half circle high booth. The restaurant is decorated very well, and we had a view of the bar which had a variety of liquors along with decorative empty bottles. We ordered a flatbread type appetizer (I forgot the name) which was good, with cheese, salad, and sundried tomatoes on top. The crust was crunchy and the cheese was very strong. I got the Moules Frites, which is mussels in a white wine and cream sauce. It also comes with fries. I didn't expect the mussels to still be in their shells, and that there wasn't anything else in the pot except mussels and the sauce they were cooked in, but I also have no clue about French food so that's my fault. The mussels were very well cooked and did not have any grit. The sauce complimented the natural fishy taste well too. The only two downsides were that the table was a little small and crowded for the arm manuevering required to get the mussel out of the shell (our fault for not getting a reservation) and the mussels + fries werent too filling. For dessert we got a chocolate tart. This was the real highlight of the meal. The tart was so warm and dense, and the ice cream was rich and soft. This was one of the best desserts I've ever had. Looking at recent pictures it seems like they added raspberries to the tart as well, I need to go back and try that!

Three course lunch special for $28 & it's deal & they get a good turnout for it. I haven't been here in years and it is super stylish in an updated art deco sort of way. Right off the bat the bread service is fire. Pain d Avignon & a great one. The have smaller sized beers & I had a German Hefeweizen. Ate: Corn soup Striped bass Crème caramel Total with beer $40 I loved my lunch! Lovely decor, delicious food & an unmatched value on the UES.

A pretty classy French restaurant. The waiter was great and attentive, and the chef stopped by to ask how things were as well, felt very personal and nice. Their burrata crostini was delicious and the GnT was so good that I would definitely come back for it.
